7:30pm BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS –(1982)
Directed by Colin Higgins. Containing: Dolly Parton, Burt Reynolds, Dom DeLuise, Charles Durning.

Dolly Parton can evoke a smile from even the most hardened criminal… for more reasons than one. Which is why we have three films celebrating the joy that Dolly brings to our universe. Here Dolly shines as an optimistic prostitute in this wacky whorehouse hybrid: part nudie film, part musical extravaganza. This early 80's camp-classic delivers as many raunchy innuendos, close-ups of Burt's moustache, and foot-stomping Country/Western numbers to get you up and dancin' the night away.

Nobody does it like Dolly! - 114 mins, 35mm widescreen.

9:45pm - NINE TO FIVE –(1980) - Directed by Colin Higgins
Containing: Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Dolly Parton, Dabney Coleman, Sterling Hayden.

Feminism reached mainstream America because of this movie right here. Come cheer for these three pragmatic, audacious, and hilarious women as they take on The Man (Coleman) and raise the chauvinist ceiling for the modern day working-woman. Rarely will you experience the dominance of actresses like Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton in one film. 110 min. 35mm.

Make sure to get ADVANCE TIX early, cuz this baby is gonna be packed!

11:59pm - RHINESTONE –(1984) Directed by Bob Clark
Containing: Dolly Parton, Sylvester Stallone, Richard Farnsworth.

Apart from being the forgotten gem of both Dolly & Sly Stallone's career, this 1980s glitter-fest is also one of the funniest films you’ve never seen! Dolly plays a Country/Western singer who bets everything she has on being able to turn a typical New York cabbie (Stallone) into a famous singer. Dolly & Sly will have you laughing to tears (and I'm not even talking about their skin-tight 80s costumes!) But what's truly addictive about Rhinestone is how well it dances that fine line between total embarrassment and sheer brilliance. (You know which side I'm on!)

111 min, 16mm. (Plus, this is directed by the man who made both BABY GENIUSES films!!)
