Like Fritz Lang in the 1940s & 1950s, upon arriving in Hollywood, Veroheven’s complex, subversive and visionary genre films have polarized American audiences for 30 years now. With strong thematic parallels to Jonathan Kaplan’s OVER THE EDGE and John Badham’s (R-Rated version of) SATURDAY NiGHT FEVER, this extremely RARE screening of the Unrated Dutch version showcases a pre-BLADE RUNNER Rutger Hauer and a performance by Renée Soutendijk that you will never forget.
