The rare print is courtesy of the Academy Film Archive and differs in numerous ways from the original release, challenging the viewers to note the differences. A Special Q&A with the director will immediately follow the screening.

In my humble opinion, Joe Dante’s GREMLiNS 2: A NEW BATCH is on par with Orson Welles’ CiTiZEN KANE (1941), due to the director being given the rare freedom to have complete artistic control of the entirety of the production. Channeling the anarchy and insanity of the classic WARNER BROTHERS cartoons, screenwriter Charlie S. Haas and director Joe Dante created one of the most subversive Hollywood films of all time. Do not miss this rare 35mm screening courtesy of Park Circus.

For the maniacs attending the double feature there will be a special surprise tribute to the Director preceding the 35mm screening.
